Update: 3V power has to be supplied to the display's power (VCC) AND backlight (LED). The following PINs had to be connected (first 8 PINs): VCC, GND, CS, RESET, D/C, SDI (MOSI), SCK, LEDI tried using it with multiple power/data sources that work with other TFT displays and it never turned on.

Great display. Unfortunately mine came with the touch screen attached and it was cracked at arival. Luckily easy to remove with hot air , care and a blade. Still rating 5 since I only needed the display. Cheers!

This display does not properly respond to the LCD CS pin. This makes it impossible to share the SPI bus with another device and therefore it is useless for my project. Easy to test and prove: hard wire CS to Vcc and note that display still works. The display should ignore all SPI data when CS is high and only process SPI data when CS is low.

I"m not sure the display chip is the correct one, I can't get the examples for that chipset to work on this display screen.

There was zero documentation with it and it did not seem to be in the LCDwiki website. I did find a youtube video where someone was setting one of these up and despite following the example to the Tee I was still unable to get the display to work. Would not recommend buying this.
