Doesn't come with replacement brackets to hold the screen but the double sided tape helps it seat just fine

My husband dropped his laptop and broke the screen, so I came to Amazon to look for a replacement. There were many options, but one of the reasons I chose this one was because it said it came with the adhesive that would be needed.This arrived extremely well packed - I was super impressed! And it had all of the parts I needed, including the adhesive and a little tool to help pull away the bezel.Installation went mostly smoothly (see below)If for any reason I should need another screen I will 100% order from these people again.ONE WARNING: The adhesive is extremely sticky, so be VERY sure that once it's off its backing you do not let it touch anything anywhere until it's touching exactly where you want it to go. I made a mistake and was off-center on one of the rails, noticed it immediately, and very slowly tried to lift it up. It ended up sticking to itself, so I used scissors to cut out the unusable portion and stuck the rest of it on top and bottom. I want to be clear that that was my mistake, and has nothing to do with the product as delivered.

I had previously had this thing plugged into a tv because the lcd was completely shattered and it was the only way I could use it. I replaced it with one of your screens and I can now use it as intended! I am not sure if the top left is broken due to user error or if it arrived broken. I was careful during the install and the only thing I can think of is it may have occurred when I was pressing the bezel back together.

The OEM screen had pressure damage and massive backlight bleed. Took a chance on this 3rd party screen for a Latitude 5500. Well packed, install was super easy, The OEM screen always had kinda washed out colors and reported as 6 bit color in Windows. This replacement screen reports as 8 bit color and is much more vibrant than the low spec OEM Dell screen. Has a slight amount of backlight bleed, which I'm sure why is was returned and sold through Amazon warehouse however, for the discount it is acceptable.5/5 stars for the warehouse value with the slight backlight bleed3.5/5 if I would of paid full price and they all ended up with similar issues.

Replaced a cracked screen off a Latitude 5520, works perfectly. OEM screen was matte but this one came glossy.

I broke the screen on my Dell Latitude 5520. I needed a replacement quickly and this was delivered next day. I am not a "computer guy" but was easily able to remove the original screen and install this one. Took about 20 minutes and looks like brand new! Great product!

It works. I expected the already have mounting bracket. But it does come with tape to mount old bracket. Little tricky line up.
