Have tried several different sink drain covers. Keep coming back to these. The stems on both sides allow easy removal. One sided stems flip in the sink and you have to use a knife tip get them out. Super easy to clean, you can remove and dump into compost or garbage, any small amount left you can rinse into the disposal. It fits into the hole so you do not have anything sliding around in the bottom of the sink. Only down side is after many months they may become stained. I put mine in the dishwasher once in a while, and a brush and sink cleaner works to remove stains.

This sink strainer is sturdy. I like the fact that I can bleach it if necessary. I had this one years ago and tried others but came back to this one. Of course, years ago it cost a fraction of what it costs now.

A simple little thing, but perfect to put in both of your kitchen sink drains (garbage disposal and regular drain) to keep anything from going down that shouldn’t be! Loved it so much that I purchased extra! Very durable, and should last a long time! No more spoons or dish clothes down the garbage disposal!
