Yep. It's lead. I needed a weight to fit inside a 1" PVC pipe for an art project, and it did the job. Came well-packaged, so it didn't arrive bent. Finish is smooth enough for most purposes, I would think.

Exactly what it said it was. 7/8" X 1' lead. It was bent up a bit, but it's lead, it was easy to bend back into shape
