I have a hot tub that is leaking water. Last fall, I tried a different brand of sealer, and it seemed to work for a few days, but then I started losing water again. This winter, I found this one, and decided to give it a try. The leak is under the hot tub, and I would have to have to have a contractor come in to repair it. I am sure that would be pretty expensive, so I want to give this a try. I am waiting for the weather to warm up enough to use this since I will need to drain the tub, clean it and refill, so the jury is still out on how well this will work. I will give an update after I have a chance to try it.

We received this product a few days ago. It will be impossible to thoroughly review unless, or until we have a leak in our pool. There seems to be sufficient quantity for the size of our pool to probably do two applications, should we need to. The only thing that concerns me is that while the description on Amazon says that it is fine for use in above ground pools, the front of the bottle clearly says that it won't work on vinyl liners. I'm not sure which description is the accurate one. Time will tell.

Very handy to use. I have a tiny leak in my pool piping, and reading this bottle and how to use it, I think it will do just fine. It is not pool weather yet so I will have to wait a bit, but the instructions are clear and i think this will do the job.

If you're losing water in your pool or hot tub, and have ruled out the obvious, then this leak sealer is the obvious next step.This bottle is enough to treat up to 15,000 gallons. There are clear instructions on how to use, and how much to use for smaller applications. Get two bottles if you have a larger in ground pool.Be clear on what this is - it will only seal cracks in PVC pipes and connectors. Most pool leaks are liner problems, and this won't do anything for that. It won't seal up O-rings on a hot tub. It's only for pipes. So if you have a bad O-ring or gasket somewhere, you need to actually do the repair. That's not what this is for.But if you've ruled out the obvious (bucket test, O-rings, etc), then this is a very easy and inexpensive first step, before calling the pool guys. It's not a magic bullet, but it might save you a ton of hassle. Well worth it in my opinion, and a nice thing to keep on hand just in case.

Product failed to seal the leek in our hot tub. I have used Marlig's fix-a-leek many times and I am genuinely sorry to have wasted my money on this product. My 17 year old Sundance Montego has a slow small leek in the therapy seat. We have tried many time and paid allot of money to try and have it fixed, finally one company recommended Marlig's fix-a-leek, which stops the leek for about 6 months before I have to use it again. Replacing the spa isn't an option at this time because it's in a room that was built around it and we cant afford to have the wall taken down and put back up in addition to getting a new spa. Decided to try this to see if I could get more than 6 months out of it. This product did not work at all. There was no change in the amount of water lost, all it did was waste my time and my money. DO NOT BUY.
