I have purchased quite a few of these clocks for our local chess club. They are sturdy, easy to set, and they have both delay and increment functions. They are suitable for tournament play if the event has a single time control.The only downside has been that they do not always last a long time. Some of my clocks have stopped working. They are inexpensive enough that I just buy new ones when this happens.

My son loves the clock. One problem I found is once I set it for G/25 but wanted to switch to G/30, the clock wouldn’t remember the new timing until I reinstall the battery. FYI. Otherwise it’s a very good value.

+Works well+Remembers last setting+Has increment option+Simple easy setup+Affordable+Clicks well defined-+Just a little bit smaller than what I like-Feels ok but not rock solid-Clicks aren't that satisfying (too plasticky)All chess clock are the same on my next point, you feel it more in very short or blitz games. Every time you want to play a new game you have to pick it up and turn it off then in again... Why hasn't anyone figured out it needs a simpler way to reset... This is not a tournament clock so a more accessible side button for reset would work great5 stars for the valueOverall, recommended

With a wide range of options out there, I'm very pleased with my choice of LEAP (black). It's easy to use, light for travel, and looks solid and well-made - not plasticky and cheap. Six stars all round go to Mina in LEAP office's customer services who got in touch with me when I expressed concern about delivery timings, and reassured me that the timer would be with me in the deadline I needed. And it was. Excellent customer service that has won a committed customer here. I wouldn't hesitate to work directly with LEAP again.
