As a former teacher, I purchased these for my grandchildren; great quality and perfect to teach base ten. The size of the set is great as well, but you may need more if dealing with larger numbers.

Game changer for my son. He's a handsome on and visual learner so this has help him grow in math class. The teacher uses it at school and we use it at home! Great for any age range, perfect size for little hands, I love the variety of types of pieces, and my son really likes that they are blue.

I knew these were gonna be smallish. Mathlink cubes underneath for size comparison. I feel like it was a good price for 1 flat, 20 rods, and 100units. I bought the base ten smart pack. My son is only in kindergarten so he is learning to count to 100 and do single digit addition. But these will be useful for the years ahead.

This is a great tool for teaching math and counting. It benefited my 5 year old and 8 year old greatly.

I think they work very well. My grandson loves counting with them. I'm a little disappointed that there were only 98 single pieces. It would have made sense to have an even amount and given 2 more pieces. He was building to 100 with single pieces and obviously it didn't quite work. Still pretty good product.

I bought these to use with my grandson and he loves them. He is young for this, so we play a simple game of rolling dice and collecting units. We exchange units for rods when we have collected 10, but he has some complicated rules about when we can make the exchanges. His understanding of double digit numbers and how to manipulate them is improving every time we play with these.

I homeschool, and this was a cheap little resource that has already helped me explain some math concepts to my kids K and grade 1. They don't click together or anything, which disappointed mg kids, but it is perfect for what it is made for

Nice little set. Good value as sturdy plastic. Good size for KS2 children to handle. Helps to make abstract mathematical concepts very visual and therefore easier to understand. I use these regularly with 1:1 and/or small group interventions.
