I am updating my review. Shortly after posting my review, I wrote to LR and asked for parts replacements. Within a week they shipped a new game. We received it soon after. At this point, weeks into the new game, nothing has broken off in the balls. I’m still unclear if it was the original toy that was the issue or if my son was just a little rough. It definitely works to move slowly and twist in and out of the balls.Original Review Below9 stick ends broke within 10 days. Hard to get sticks in balls. Return window closed after 4 weeks. I just gave son the game. Is there a way to reorder pieces?

I bought this for our little one when she was 3. Somehow, I had overlooked that it was for 6+.So when I got it, I put it high up on the shelf in the closet. When she was 4, she spied it up there and wanted it. So I gave it to her and let her explore it. (I always let her play open-ended with any new toy first before showing her some other things a toy can do.) She immediately created a "spider" and then a series of lollipops. She put those in an Amazon box we had gotten with a shipment that day and proceeded to ship and deliver her lollipops. Hello Amazon! The lollipop game lasted for weeks. Now 4 months later, she has progressed to other creations.I expect this to be a toy with high play value for many years to come,

I bought these for my child's teacher. She loves how easy they come apart. The size is perfect for children. Colors are just like the picture, they don't chip and the usability of them are great for kids to make their shapes.

We love this toy so much. My kids happily play with it every time I bring it out. It's great as an open ended toy for them just to create but I also like that they are "reading" the cards to make the suggested items. It's also great for showing my daughter (homeschool kinder) 2D and 3D shapes. Since I have 2 kids I did end up buying a second, smaller set (same company) just so they wouldn't fight over pieces.

This is a wonderful material for learning geometry or simply building shapes for fun. My son prefers to use these for building right now, not least because attaching the rods to the spheres is pretty fiddly and he gets extremely frustrated. He builds a tiny building or snowplow or mallets or car or ship or whatever thing, and then leaves it assembled and doesn't build anything else until I disassemble and put away the pieces after a week or so. I won't call it difficult to work with these because it's not, exactly, "difficult," but for a child with low frustration tolerance and who hasn't built fiddly things before (think Lego), these could be challenging.Unfortunately, on top of being fiddly for a child, the tiny plastic bits on both ends of the rods which are inserted into the spheres break VERY easily. Within 5 minutes of introducing this material during our math games time, *I* (the very careful adult) broke a rod and the tiny piece stayed stuck in the sphere. Since then, 3 more have broken in the same manner. I've had to throw away 2 rods and 1 sphere. I would not call these durable.I think I would still buy these again. Overall, the idea is great. The size is just right for a child working at a table. The pieces are not soooo small so as to be dangerous for a baby sibling, though they of course should be closely supervised and not allowed to mouth the pieces. Thanks to their bright color, it's pretty easy to find any pieces which fall to the floor and roll away. The cards are helpful. It's just the durability of these that concerns me.

It’s a cute toy and I like the cards, that clearly teach the difference between 2d and 3d shapes, and their names. But we’ve only had it a few days and many of the pieces are broken, which is not normal for us. The ends of the long pieces break off and get stuck in the round pieces, rendering the long piece unusable and the round piece having one fewer hole that can be used.

I am a homeschool parent to a kindergarten and 2nd grade student. I saw these shapes after we had completed geometry for the year. We already have 3 dimensional wooden blocks. However, this kit is so much more! The kids can build and take apart the shapes while counting sides and vertices. The kit comes with two sided cards for building. The cards tell you what you need, but you have to build it. I like how the cards have questions and extensions. We can build the 3 dimensional shapes or whatever or imagination designs. Both of my kids love this kit. As another review mentioned the only problem is having enough so that two kids may play at the same time without taking apart what they just made to make the next thing. However, I am very pleased with the kit and would definitely recommend.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter who is in reception class, it really helped her to understand the 2d &3d dimensions and it was also very much fun. Recommend it.

My 4-year-old broke 4 pieces (the long connectors) in a 2 minutes, the plastic snaps broken too easily!!Why so cheap plastic?? Is it so hard to use a little bit more durable kind? Also, the cards were too easy for my daughter, do you really need to make 3 different instruction cards for a simple square (in 3 sizes)? For a toy priced over 50€ this was a disappointment and robbery!! Use your money to something else instead!!

Comprato per um.bambino di quasi 6 anni. Molto apprezzato! Gioco davvero carino che da spazio a creatività e immaginazione e permette di sviluppare la percezione delle forme tridimensionali. Unica pecca è la fragilità dei componenti che purtroppo tendono a rompersi facilmente durante assemblaggio e disassemblaggioCome potete vedere dalle foto. La lingua inglese non è un limite perché le schede sono intuitive e solo uno spunto da cui partite.
