Taught my 5-year-old twins and 7 year-old how to play Sudoku in less than 5 minutes from this game. Super easy set-up, love that all cards are listed by difficulty, and great magnet feature that allows them to play again and again! I also love how they start with 4X4 space creatures to teach the rules of the game before proceeding with 6X6 numbers. Made it much easier to explain. Great game for math and critical thinking skills.

These pieces are very small, so I’d be aware of what children you intend to play with this. My older girls are really enjoying it. It is well made and I believe will last our schooling years. One child loves Sudoku on paper, the other doesn’t and is intimidating by it. They both loved playing the game in a hands on aspect.

This is the perfect way to introduce kids to Sudoku! The easiest cards were easy enough for my 5 year old to complete. My almost 7 year old had fun with the more challenging cards and picked up in the game very quickly. The magnetic pieces stay in place well and this set is of high quality. It would be great for road trips, taking to a restaurant, or just for playing around the house.
