THis is a great puzzle for younger kids to introduce them into similar but more complex and involved puzzles. I bought half a dozen of these to give gifts to kids ranging from 5 to 8 years old. Everyone loved it. Once you they know it is easy .. however now they have grasped the concept, I was able to give them more challenging ones with similar concept of 'switching' the positions.

My two granddaughters aged 11 & 13 played with this endlessly after the holidays. There are various game challenges on the enclosed game info and they each were quite interested in getting through each one of challenges. It was compact enough that they brought it along in the car and worked on each challenge along the drive and also later on in th evening, while watching TV. I wasn't sure how it would go over but it was a good gift choice for them and they had a lot of fun with it.

Easy to use, and decently entertaining, BUT the sound it makes is obnoxious. I am more into it than my 8 and 5 year olds.
