The product has snaps that connect to make the loop the belt goes through. They do not hold very securely they will, and did come loose. I used it for one shift and nearly lost my department issued apx 6000 several times, will not use it again.

Was broken when I received it but I needed it for work so I taped it until I could buy a different type of radio holster then returned.

Works great with my Motorola APX8000. I was worried it would break getting in and out of my work vehicle but this adjusts to your body movement letting the radio sway a bit.

The square ring is PLASTIC! The square ring should absolutely be made out of high grade aluminum. This "high quality" plastic is still plastic. It will break... I mean, for any quality fire/ems/police system. If you're pulling your radio out once a day it might last for years but probably not. You'd be crazy to hang a $5,000 piece of equipment that you don't own in a piece of plastic, just saying.

I ordered this radio holder for work as replacement. Item is significantly less expensive and same if not better quality. Highly recommend.

The only issue with the item is the presence of rust. This is the second time rust has appeared in the same spot.
