I LOVE HOW THE PAGES LOOK! Many pages and the design looks great. If I didn't get the gray I'd of gotten the bronze looking one!

The journal itself is pretty attractive. It has a nice, leather look with a debossed design on the front. The cover is flexible and the pages are bound separate from the spine, which allows bends to not show on the spine and for the pages to flex more.The sides of the pages are all a dark brown, which gives the whole notebook a nice warm look. Each page has a header where you can add the date. The lines are all in brown, so they match the look and feel of the journal. It includes a bookmark ribbon that is attached so you can keep your place.I tested it with two different fountain pens. One that puts out a lot of ink and one that is an extra fine nib and puts out much less. I used dark, watery inks to really test how well the paper would stand up to bleeding or ghosting.Bleeding: The paper performed well. I'd say it's above average. Not perfect, but better than many other papers would.Ghosting: The paper is a little too thin to prevent ghosting, I think. When you separate the papers from each other, you can barely see any ghosting from the finer point pen, but when the papers are flat against each other, it's definitely visible. For lighter pens or pens that do not put out a lot of ink, I don't think this should be a large issue.I have attached images of the way the writing looks on the page with both pens, and the way the pages look from the back with the papers against one another and then separated.Overall, it's a nice journal and has a lot of pages. I like the way it looks and feels. It's not perfect if you're a fountain pen enthusiast who likes a wider nib, but it should hold up well to fine nibs and dryer inks.

This journal is so nice. It’s made very well and very durable. I like that it’s not big and bulky. It’s the perfect size to take with you on the go. It’s a great deal for the price.
