2.Pls ensure that the stamp is perpendicular to the vegetable tanned leather (do not tilt) to avoid bending the stamp rod.

*Note:

The vegetable tanned leather is easier to show the pattern when it is wet and then stamped.

Do not buy this product. Substandard terrible. The shaft bent after the first use.

Low grade and small.Good for some leather work but not overall a good quality punch set.

I purchased these to put a pattern on a belt. The issue that I had were that the shaft would bend after about a minute worth of use. I was able to straighten them out and finish my project, but it took much longer and was much more work. They worked, but not very well. They were not very expensive compared to other options, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I opened these and did a couple test stamps and they started bending in half. Im not to happy or impressed about it.
