I’ve been trail riding my MTB with this for about a month now. 5’9 and 200 lbs. Based in other reviews I bought an XL. After squeezing into this sausage casing I realized that even though it is tight around my waist (I like an occasional IPA or two), a Large may have actually been my size. Around the waist it is tight but at the shoulders, where it is really important, it is almost loose on me. Not a lot, but somewhat. It’s comfortable and I have been wearing a shirt over it. I imagine in the summer I’ll skip the shirt and just wear this. I haven’t crashed with it yet but it seems like it could have prevented my last shoulder injury when I tagged a tree hard with my shoulder. Overall, like nearly all the Leatt products I’ve used for motorcycle riding, this is a quality product. Just prepare yourself to feel like you need to lose the gut.

Had to return this one for an XL, which works well. Most shirts that fit me are a bit small in terms of shoulder width. XL has the right snugness for the pads to stay in place. 5 ft 10, 185 lbs, wider than avg shoulders. Probably should be hand washed fyi. I use this like a piece of protective gear for downhill MTB, not as a "shirt" that I wear all the time. Light and compact enough to keep in my Nathan pack for extended uphills, then I put it on for extended downhills.

ok I'm 6'3 190lbs wide shoulders. this fits really tight around chest and stomach, plenty of length though for being tall. shoulders fit well but it is very snug I'll keep it but probably should of got a XXL. Will fit under a jersey or shirt very nice but will be hot on days like today when its 84 degrees out

The advertisement on Leatt website promised a shirt with shoulder protection. It sounded good, so I bought it because I fall a lot on my right shoulder. When I tried it on, it was very small and the shoulder protection didn't seem to set well on my shoulders. I returned it

I really did not like the material of this shirt. It felt like it should be worn at an S&M club not out on the trails. I got the L and it was waaaayyyyy too tight. I'm 6'1" 195lbs. Essentially it's just a really uncomfortable undershirt for a couple little shoulder pads. Way more con's than pro's in my opinion. I was curious to try this under vest-style armor, but it would have been extremely uncomfortable to ride in so I just sent it back.

I bought this to wear at the skatepark to hopefully prevent any serious shoulder falls from causing a dislocation. Fits really tight and snug and the shoulder guards stay perfectly in place. Have worn at least 20 times and is holding up just fine.

Seems decent for recreational use. The padding and protection seem very minimal. I returned because I thought the shoulder protection was hard/plastic. It's just foam. I wouldn't recommend for hard enduro or motocross riding. For casual woods riding or something it would be good.

excellent shoulder protection and good fitment as per their guide. I was already aware of Leatt armour prior to purchasing as this product always had a high, independent recommendation. The only draw back is removing it after a sweaty ride, but not a deal breaker. Would highly recommend to wear on warm or hot days. It has very breathable mesh.

Defective material ripped down a seem before I even wore it .... Material seems defective ...didn't think Leatte was this cheap??? Why is there a strange looking seem on this area ..?
