I got this bulb to replace a 20W fluorescent bulb in my bug zapper, and it seems to be working. (Hard to quantify, but bugs still zap!) This is the lowest-wattage, slimmest corn-shaped UV LED bulb I can find on Amazon, and it even has dimmable and nondimmable versions. Pretty unique. I tried combining it with a remote-controllable dimmer socket from Dewenwils (ASIN: B0BXRVHQ5D) to get the wattage down even further, and hopefully attract more bugs with PWM flicker (see Liu et al., Scientific Reports 2017). The total assembled length came out identical to the old fluorescent bulb, fitting perfectly in my zapper (photos attached). Can confirm the bulb is dimmable. Unfortunately the Dewenwils dimmer socket stays off if you flip the power source off and on, making the overall combo too fiddly, so now I just use the JSVASL bulb without the extra socket. No problems so far, and it runs cooler than the old fluorescent.
