I never wrote reviews, but these deserve all the praise! If you like a quick, painless clipping experience, these are the clippers for you and your pup. They are functional, sharp, and easy to use. The guard is so helpful and made me feel so much more confident that I wouldn’t accidentally draw blood when clipping. Highly recommend!

The built-in LED light illuminates the nail, allowing for easier cuts and reducing the risk of cutting the quick, especially on dogs with light to brownish nails.I liked the locking mechanism that prevents accidental locking which is a problem I had on my other clippers.While the light helps with visibility for brown nails, it still doesn't completely help with black nails.

Great for a non professional! I have always been afraid to do my dog's nails. I was clipping my mom's Yorkie a while back and got one of her nails too short. It broke my heart. I thought never again. I have always let the groomer do them. But their nails grow out a little quicker than their hair does. I have a morkie and a Yorkie and a German Shepherd. This product works great on all three. I love the fact that it has the guard so you can't go too far. Of course with the guard there I have to go over their nails twice, but they don't seem to mind. I highly recommend this product.

I searched for a 'guillotine' style large breed dog nail clippers as that is all I've ever been comfortable using. I had 2 pairs of this style already at home- not using them. They don't have the "nail guard" this does. I had to research what that was, be sure I could move it. This one, unlike my old ones is A) Very sturdy, sound, firm grip in your hand. B) Larger than my previous ones and able to cut my senior 70# Lab/Shepherd mix nails. C) this is the 1st time EVER my dog has not tugged his leg back each trim. He did not bend his face up to his feet in distress. He laid on his side and stayed fully relaxed. Wow. All these years I thought the other style was best, it does make more noise. I can't say if it's the comfort or the less noise that made it batter for him D) the nail guard made it so fast, so simple that I was not concerned about going to far towards the quick. We're SO glad I did my research & tried something new! Thanks for the great design.

These clippers cut super nicely, and are very ergonomic. My cat hates having her nails clipped but I get to do it very fast with these!
