I have owned one of these things for almost three years.I have used it consistently both at home and in the field, and it still works as good as the first day I bought it, even after quite a few hard knocks and drops. These are perfect at the picnic table or when you're camping but don't/can't have a fire. I had no idea it was waterproof, maybe that makes for better longevity?I came back here to order some more of these things just in case they disappear. Grabbing a two pack so I can gift one of them. This was one of the first and still perhaps best purchases I ever made in the cool LED light department...Or at least it was the best, I'll update my review if these new ones aren't as good.These look amazing in a box or paper bag or with wood nearby, or in a tent. They have a warmer light then most LEDs with a good charge port and good short- and long-term battery life. It plays nice with other types of LEDs. Some people seem to find it a bit much at the dinner table, particularly the flicker setting, but that is my personal favorite, so, Five Stars!

These look great, have good brightness and we love that the flicker is in the right direction with the base up or down.The downsides are that the timer maxes out at four hours - six or eight would be better light Halloween and Christmas decorations. Also, the lights need to be turned on manually every day. They do not automatically turn on at the same time each day and then shut off after the duration set via the timer.

This is my second set ordered.Battery lasted 5 nights so far. I''m using the flame setting and have it on for about 4 or 5 hours a night. I expect at least one more night before I will need to charge it. Love the remote too!

These lights are so pretty and simulate a flickering fire. Worked well inside a creepy dollhouse outdoors for halloween.
