I actually bought three of these and put these in the living room where light was not very well distributed a matter of fact, it’s an older home so it only uses a switch to turn on the power socket. So I simply ran an extension cord between the lights, keeping in mind these lights that I put in here are all LED using very little power, but extremely bright. Hundred watt output but only using about 14 W of power each. I also set them so that they are on a dimmer switch so that they can be controlled as bright as you want and because each light has its own switch. I can turn off individual ones and just leave other ones on for ambience. The lights are easy to put together simply built, not overly strong but as long as you don’t have kids knocking them over every five minutes, they should be just fine.

Thought I was Getting TWO lamps, with foot pedel on and off, not a turn on switch. Sale? The one that I received. Works perfectly. Would get another one. Enjoy

Easily assembled . Good value . It is a very lightweight lamp, but perfect for lighting in one of those areas where u want the fixture to be unobtrusive.

The threaded part of two of the pole sections was bent so the pole wouldn't screw together properly.
