Was looking for a waterproof switch that had thick gauge wires. This is well constructed and hopefully will last along time on my boat.

This is a nice large switch. The ring light isn't brightest but good enough to tell its on without blinding you at night. No documentation but easy enough to figure out. The white wires can be wired into either circuit for the light. The red to red or black to black are the NO/NC contacts. You can flip this by rotating the switch 180 degrees. The only issue I have with this is that they plug is not keyed and has extra blank slots for the middle pins. This allows you to rotate the switch 90 degrees which then flips the NO/NC between the red/black wires. This could potentially cause issues down the road if the plug gets accidentally rotated. Do note that the led wires are not making contact in this orinetation so you won't get an led at all. This is the only quick way to check without pulling. the switch. If you want to avoid this you can always fill in the empty pins in the so it only allows 180 degrees of rotation and not 90. Overall it does feel pretty nice I would prefer a keyed connector.

These large, sturdy buttons have thick wires for real higher-amp systems, metal bodies far tougher than plastic, a very satisfying click-lock when pressed, plus cool lights which are surprisingly polarity-free (they come on when either +/- or -/+). The green LED color is very cool, and indoors or at night looks quite bright, but under full sun is not strong enough to show, and you have to look or feel if the button is recessed into the body to know if it is on or not.Installing these was very easy, I just used the ring you screw up from the bottom to trace a circle for the inner dimensions, drilled that out, slid the button in and screwed the ring up from underneath to lock it down. Took only a few minutes. The wiring took a little more playing with to figure out, despite the chart in the product images. The chart doesn't really show that yes, the light lacks polarity, and one red wire goes to positive while the other one connects to one of the light wires and whatever you're controlling with this, but BOTH main black wires need to be grounded, or the button itself won't work right in regards to the light coming on. Since the actual connection is passing from just red in to red out, I wasn't sure if I even needed both black or if I could drop one, but if you don't ground BOTH of the black wires in addition to one of the light wires, you get nowhere.Hooked up right, this works like a charm, and feels very rugged, like it'll last for a long time. I really love the big size and feeling it gives when pressed. Using a single button as the cutoff for my USB and cigarette adapter ports means I need something that can handle more than the maximum amps all of those use, even at full theoretical load, and a lot of buttons aren't rated up to the task, but these are, and have performed excellently so far. I wish the light color showed better under full sunlight, but still like these for everything else they offer.

I've never had one of these switches in aluminum before. I like that it can be anodized as a result. The latching action feels solid and repeatable. The LED is pretty bright, but can be dimmed by adding resistors in-line with the LED wires. The one problem I can see with this design is the fact the lip that holds the switch to a panel is only 1mm wide. So the threads are 18.8mm and the lip is 20.8mm in diameter, which means the radius difference is 1mm. If you're using this on sheet metal, you may want to make your hole a little smaller than 18.8mm (or, realistically, 19mm) and then thread the switch down the hole. Regardless, make sure your mounting holes are lightly sized.I'm not sure how well this would handle 20 amps since I can't open it up to see the contacts, but so far it hasn't had any issue with 5 amps I've been sending.I'm pretty pleased with the aesthetic and function of this push button.

What's there to say ? Nice large easy to see and use latching switches. Look good the lights is just right not too bright.

I got these switches for a restomod car build, and they are better than I expected. They take all the current I need them to (~12A), and they look good doing it. They come with their own pigtails, and the copper wiring is ready to tie in to your harness. The fronts are very modern looking, and the blue lighting makes them easy to find in the dark.I like them, will be getting more!

The LED can be powered with 12V to 24V. The intensity changes a little between the two voltages but not significantly. The polarity for the LED wires does not matter. The LED turns on for both polarities. Inserting the switch in the socket rotated by 180 degrees should not cause any change in functionality. The LED contacts in the socket may not align perfectly and may cause issues with inserting the switch in the socket. Overall I'm happy with the functionality of the switch.
