I picked these up to make a bunch of 6x12in "handy travel stuff" canvas pouches for myself & friends. I always end up accidentally forgetting about my multitool or pocketknife or scissors when I go through airport security, or I forget to bring or end up losing pens or a scarf or my notebook, or I end up having to use a shoelace for a makeshift clothesline when paracord would have been just the thing, or I space out bringing a lighter or a flashlight -- you know, all that stuff that you bring and lose on the trip, or stuff you forget to bring but would have ended up coming in super-handy at one point or the other, or stuff that inconsistent airport security screening will let pass in one country but clamp down on in another for some unknown reason. If I'm not traveling around on vacation or business, it'd be handy stuff to just have in the car. Anyhow, the flashlights are great because they are as simple as it gets (unscrew, put battery in, screw down, click button, lumos!) There's no "dim" or "strobe" or "SOS" mode to click past... you get "on" and "off". The "check battery" function is as simple as clicking it 5 or 6 times without getting any light and you know it's time to open it up and check the cell. I carry a couple alkaline AAAs in just about every bag and briefcase I have, so it's no big deal for me to swap out. Perfect. Nice and small, too, and reasonably thin - thin enough to be easy to clip firmly on the brim of a ballcap or fishing hat, barely more heavy than the battery inside it. Cheap as chips. It was the right item for my little pouches.

I purchased this product because I needed a slimmer flashlight for work that would fit in my bag/on my clothing. Here is what I will speak on:- The design is slim and compact which is perfect for us. Our previous flashlights were too bulky.- The color or tone is great for blending in but can become hard to find within your personal items (ex: black large purses, dropping it in a car interior that is also black). The size can also make it a bit difficult to locate when transferring it from different places and could be easy to lose. I do hope this manufacturer creates more colors within the line.- The clip on it is solid, rigid, and holds pretty good. I would not suggest using the clip on pant/skirt pockets.- I did have to replace the item as I accidentally opened the wrong end to change the battery. There are no directions that come with package, and I had hastily opened the part that I thought was the battery compartment. Opening/accidentally opening it from the front end (the end that has the lens cover over the light component) caused me to pull up the wires and inner-workings. I tried to gently push them back in and seal that side then change the battery. When I turned it on, the entire flashlight got very hot. I wasn’t expecting this to happen and slightly panicked as I couldn’t easily untwist the end to take the battery out and break the circuit.I would hope that they could change the style of this flashlight to seal this compartment completely. The average consumer has no need to have access to these parts. The price is also not worth it to buy things needed to fix the circuit if you have issues.- The light itself emits a cool color (as opposed to warm) and is quite bright for its size when used.Overall, worth its price monetarily. For those that care about sustainability/sustainability is a large factor in purchasing products/goods, I wouldn’t recommend this light as it can be damaged easily in various ways and in no way is recyclable (unless it is returned and refurbished and you specifically use rechargeable batteries). For those needing a quick, small light for personal use that is affordable—yes, I would recommend this.

Received my 2 pack the other day. Pleasantly surprised at sturdiness of these little flashlights. They’re NOT PLASTIC JUNK like so many at this price point are. IDK what the lumens are, but they’re plenty bright. Not what I’d bring on a search and rescue mission, but for close at hand tasks like inside a tent while camping or searching for something that’s rolled under the sofa they’re perfect. They take up next to no room at all so I’m buying extras to keep in the glovebox, desk, toolbox, etc.

I was a municipal inspector and home inspector for over 30 years. In that time I tried about 50 different flashlights, always looking for the most convenient and powerful light in the smallest package. The AAA streamlight became a constant due to its size and strength of beam. Not that it replaces a mega beam light, but you won't find anything else this size that clips into your pocket or on the brim of your hat if you have both hands in use. Until these. The streamlight has become prohibitively expensive. The price for 2 of these is about $8 cheaper than one of those. I find no difference in strength of illumination and the function is so close the difference is negligible. A terrific value, enough so to have spares everywhere you might need one.

This is a cool flashlight and I love how small and portable it is. I bought it for travel as it fits nicely into my backpack and I like to use it when I'm away from home. The light is quite powerful for a small flashlight. The built quality is good and this should last for many years.

Very bright light. Well made but very light with a beautiful finish. Easy to click on and off comparing to the much more expensive streamlight, since I have arthritis in my hands. Great price at $5.00 each when buying the 4 pack. I highly recommend them.

Outside looks okay but it looks sent a used or damaged item when I looked at the battery contact part.
