The first time I replaced this light it was under warranty and the light lasted about 4 years. The second time I bought a Whirlpool replacement and it lasted about 2 and 1/2 years. I saw this cheap replacement on Amazon and it lasted 3 months. I purchased one more in the hopes that this might be a freak thing and maybe it will at last two or three years but I don't think I will hold my breath. This will be it for buying these cheap lights. There's obviously a problem with LED lights and Whirlpool refrigerators. Whirlpool should be paying for these lights. BEWARE. To make matters worse you buy this light from one company and then when I complained about the horrible quality they basically said they don't have any responsibility because it actually comes from a third party company. Legally this may be ok but by law there should be a huge disclaimer (plainly visible) on anything that is sold by one company but actually comes from a third party. I didn't see anything like that. BUYER BEWARE

The product was great when installed. Light was bright, I could see inside the refrigerator again! I was so happy to have found an affordable replacement for my Whirlpool. This was the 3rd time my light went out, first 2 were under warranty from Whirlpool. This one lasted 4 months, I am disappointed ☹ï¸

Tried this affordable replacement from the OEM part and so far from install to actually illuminating refrigerator interior has performed flawlessly. Unsure on lifespan on these things but OEM part lasted 5yrs and hopefully this will last just as long if not longer.No install instructions provided but internet searches provide many easy instructions. Vendor provided quick delivery of Item earlier then expected.

I order this item on October 1, 2024. I received it a few days and installed it., On February 2 it failed. This item lasted about 4 month. Normally these lights modules last one to two years, This one failed prematurely, lasting only 4 months. I did not get value for my money out of this item. Frankly I feel that I should get a replace free of charge.Regards
