The discharge current remains constant until the end, so both two brightness levels and SOS mode will not dim due to low battery power.
The battery is protected by both the internal board and the power board, ensuring over-charge and over-discharge protection for safety and longevity.
Full charging time: 3.5 hours, until all four indicators are stable and not flashing.
After fully charged, the high brightness of the work light lasts for 3 hours, while the low brightness lasts for 6.5 hours.
Please use a 5V 2A adapter or above to charge this mechanic light. (Adapter not included in the package.)
IMPORTANT NOTICES:
- Magnets cannot adhere to surfaces made of aluminum alloy, carbon fiber, or surfaces with very low iron content.
- If the underside of the engine hood is made of aluminum, the magnet will not work.
- Please stick it to surfaces with a high iron content to maintain the effectiveness of the work light.
- Upgraded with silicone full coverage to prevent the magnet from detaching without affecting its strong magnetic properties.
- To achieve an IP54 waterproof rating and enhance product durability, the net weight of the work light has been increased to 1.34 lb.

I really enjoy using this light! For years I’ve used a single mount magnetic folding light that would not last long at all. I got this light and I’ve already put it to use under my truck for a wiring job. The light itself feels sturdy and magnets on the end are strong but not so strong that you have to struggle to move it to a different spot. It’s highly adjustable and it even has little hooks so you can hang it if needed. Another nice little thing is it came fully charged and ready to go out of the box, which was a nice surprise. Lastly, you can also charge your phone from it as a power bank if needed, which is also super nice if you keep this in your vehicle while traveling.

Great for anything. Brighter than expected with both modes. Magnets are strong and the fact that the light can spin 360 while attached is awesome. Highly recommend.

I have always used corded trouble lights when working on the cars and areas in the house. Couldn't always get the light where I needed it or there was no plug-in available. As a backup, I would use small palm sized battery powered lights to at least give some light in a dark space. I was going to work underneath the car and decided to search for a rechargeable light with magnetic attachment. I watched several product reviews on these and always came back to this one because of price, light brightness, and magnetic attachment on both ends so you can hang it vertical or horizontal, plus, it has a hook on each end so you can hang it from a non-metallic surface. The magnetic ends will ratchet bend up to 90 degrees and the light body can rotate 360 degrees putting light where you want it. I am well pleased with it. 3 levels of brightness and the middle intensity seems plenty for all my needs. Recently changed the oil on my car and simply hung the light on the underframe of the car out of my way. Perfect. Then moved up under the hood to add oil and change the air filter. The light stuck to the hood enveloping the entire engine bay in good light. Perfect. Overall the job took about an hour which is the longest I have used if at anyone time. I can't say how long the battery would last but I would suspect at least a few hours. It recharges via USB-C cable which is included in the box. I am happy with this purchase.
