This stamp dispenser is simple and works well. I've only used it with 100 stamp rolls. Simply put the roll of stamps sideways in the bottom and feed it through the opening and under the guides. As you pull, it unrolls and stamps separate from the backing, making them easy to grab and apply to an envelope.

Just went through a roll of stamps with this thing and it worked fine with no issues. I'd say it improved the process of putting stamps on envelopes a little. I'd like it even more if it was on a heavy base and had a motor to auto-advance the stamps.

Somewhat costly but sturdy to last a long time. The only hang up is loading a new roll of stamps. You must first use 5 or 6 stamps on the roll before loading. Next, cut the end of the backing into an arrowhead shape. Thread the backing and stamps through the slot, leaving some extra. Next pass the pointed end through the guide tabs and out to the side. The point will help get the backing through the guides easily. Pull excess stamps back inside and replace the cap. Loading is very easy with this procedure.

I had a different kind of dispenser, but it kept falling open and the stamps would fall out an unroll. This one is great! It stays closed, and the slit for the stamps is tight enough that the stamps don't fall back into the container. TBH, I didn't really need the help peeling the backing off, but that works, too.

Bought this for my business billing. Previously I used just a paperclip on the coil of stamps. While this accomplishes keep a coil of stamps from unraveling and allows for a pull to separate stamp from backing, you have to use your hand to hold the dispenser as well. As the stamps will be oriented up and then back down on the backing (not stuck to it though) this leads to:Hold dispenser with non-dominant hand>pull backing with other hand>pick up stamp>place on envelope and repeat. It does what its supposed to do, but it would be better if this had a way to attach it to a surface or some more heft. There's almost more care that has to be dedicated than my good old blue paper clip, lest stamps fly off or stick back to the backing. I'll try long term...but in short, use a paperclip.

This thing is wonderful. It makes stamp peeling an almost instant process. I send out dozens of cards via USPS every day and need the most efficient way to put stamps on envelopes. After looking through a few items on Amazon, I went with this one because it seemed to be the only one that actually peeled the sticker off the roll.I believe some of the negative reviews stem from loading the device improperly. What works best for me is to load the roll the opposite of how you would think. Check out the image I posted to see how it should be loaded. If the creator of this product is reading this review, I highly suggest updating the listings pictures to help buyers understand the best way to use this.Normally I would give this product a 4 star rating because occasionally the stamps don't peel on their own and you have to wait until they pass through the black tabs in order to manually peel it off. This is honestly not a big deal for the overall convenience the item offers. The reason I am giving this product a 5 star rating even with that small issue is because I could not find any other automatic stamp peelers on Amazon so I believe this product deserves more attention. By giving it a 4 star rating, I would be lowering it's overall rating and likely lower the chance that someone else purchases it in the long run.If you're looking for a tool that peels stamps off the roll for you, go with this product! Definitely highly recommended.
