I have been on year-long quest to bring down my blood pressure and it required me to lose over thirty pounds. (Side note: I was already eating a healthy diet and couldn't figure out what to do until I read an article from Pritikin called "the best and worst foods for weight loss" that explained the concept of calorie density of foods. It was a game changer for me.) Anyhow, I'd started exercising more and changing shape before I actually made a real effort to lose weight. I'd been wearing loose flowing skirts but with that toning I decided to get pants. Size 16 fit great and didn't gap in back or anything. I have "birthing hips" (broad hips) so more pear than apple but really I'd gotten to the point of just fluffy before I started exercising. I was surprised what a difference in my size/shape just walking made.Once they started fitting too loose and gapping, I just ordered the next size down. I alternated between blue and khaki and just order one in each size as I go down. So I always have one color that's a little too big and donate everything bigger than that as I go.At size 12 they suddenly started looking really nice. Less built to fit around me while looking nice and more just looking nice. I'm now down to size 8 and I have been happy with every single size. Maybe I just lucked out. But they are great, reliable pants.I was specifically looking for something nice for work that looked respectable and flattering and was comfortable all day. This fit the bill. I also wear them on my day off with a t shirt or sweater and that's really cute too.I've never owned one pair for more than a few months so I can't tell you how they hold up over time but since I've only had two pairs of pants at a time, they get worn and washed frequently. They do look a little faded over time compared to when they were new but still really nice. I would be careful about black though and wash inside out without any additions like oxiclean based on what happens to the blue. Also, the blue ones bleed a lot the first few washes. After that they are fine to throw in with your other laundry.If you do manage to lose over thirty pounds and keep it off for at least a year, you can join the National Weight Control Registry, which is the largest study of sustained weight loss. Great information on how to do it too. I've lost over 30 pounds very gradually, typically a pound every two weeks, so I'm confident I won't yo-yo and that next year I'll be joining the registry! Good luck to anyone else who is trying.

I have been searching for business casual khaki pants for months. I have tried Eddie Bauer, Gap, Tommy Bahama, Columbia, Lands End, Aeropostle, Dickies, only found one pair from Ralph Lauren that fit well and returned the others. Until these came I was so disappointed, these Lee pants are soft and comfy. I am 5'5" and weigh 140 lbs, I only wear flats so I purchased a 6 short and they fit perfectly, I'm ordering more. They don't wrinkle, I'm not sure if they shrink, I hung them to air dry then morning of wearing them put them in the dryer on low for 20 minutes. I couldn't get over how comfortable they were, I highly recommend trying them. If they don't fit it only cost you a trip to return them to UPS or get another size.

Fits well, true to size, the fabric does have a tendency to collect lint. I bought 2- navy blue & brown. The colors are rich & washed well, no fading noticed.There were reviews that stated the length ran short. I did NOT find that to be true. The length was normal for a size 14. I am 5’5†tall.

I'm a big fan of Lee, but disappointed in these. I wear a 16, but got an 18 Long as suggested in the ad. They are a tightfut, but I can wear them. They are advertised as loose fit, but they fit tighter than the 16 that I usually buy. The good part is that I'm 5’10 inches and the length is okay. The 34 in inseam is usually a little long because I prefer a 33 insean. These pants fit like a 33 inseam, so if you need a 34, you may be disappointed. I don't think I would buy them again, unless I went two size larger. The loose fit is important to me because I wear a knee brace sometimes under slacks. Loose fit slacks makes the brace easier to wear. I wouldn't recommend them to a friend.

These trousers fit well and run a little long. As another reviewer noted, the texture of the fabric catches dust and pet hair. It's like a low-pile velveteen, though the fabric is not heavy or thick. The color is good so far, and I ordered one size up as advised in the comments. I have not yet washed these, so I can't comment on if if shrinks or fades. So far so good.

I love these pants! I have been on a long, tiring search for the perfect work pant. I was looking for something comfortable, with functional pockets, and NOT ANKLE LENGTH!! These are perfect in every way and they are so soft. I love wearing them for work, and I can wear them all day. You might have to size up and I would recommend checking out the size chart directly on the Lee' Clothing website just to make sure you're getting the right size. I usually wear 12 in jeans and pants, and I got a 14 in these. They are a bit loose in the hip area, but that's just how my body is built.Can't recommend enough, love them

These seem like good well-made cotton pants. It is nice to find a regular length pants because so many women's pants are ankle length. Anyway, they fit comfortably in the waist, but unfortunately, but they are just too wide through the hips and legs for me.

I am so impressed with these trousers. Fast delivery as always but the fit is perfect and I always have such a problem with sizes being consistent. I am a size 18 and 6†tall. The regular length was perfect. You could easily turn them up if you’re shorter. The fabric is lightweight and quite soft to feel. Really lovely in the skin. The fit is also flattering as I have cuddly bits being in my 50s.I really recommend these.
