My old notary book was a full 8.5x11 format, and soft bound. I wanted something that would survive being thrown in my backpack without getting all manky. This one is good. I like the color - I chose the teal, and it's easy to find. I like that there's a pen holder, the ribbon means that I don't have to cut the upper corners to find where I am in the book, and the the elastic that holds it all together means that I'm not constantly getting other things lost in it. Add to all that that the price was reasonable, and it's a win.

Needed a new journal as a notary and bought two Legend Notary Journal – Hardcover Notary Log Book with Pre-Printed Entries. They are very nice and sturdy, I like that they have only two entries on each page, which makes covering up info before signing much easier. The only thing I would like if the Name, Address and phone number sections to have a separate line to make it easier to fill out and not forget the requested information. Would order these again once my journals are full.
