I have several brands of wall plates and didn't have any issue installing these in them. All stayed in place.My install was using a 12 hole wall plate for most of my home audio system that included 4 rear surrounds using 16g wire.The remaining holes were used for 1 remote sub (RCA), 1 spare CAT5 and 2 Coax RG6 (F).The fit of the set screw on the back were prefect for 16g wire and could have used 12g if needed. The binding post work well with Deadbolt Banana Plugs that I also purchased from here.

Good fit in multiple brands of keystone plates. Can fit two 12ga stranded wires. Strong set screw holds wires tightly in base. Great set at a good price.

I bought these as a part of my home theater install, paired with and . Most of the room has dark accents, like aged bronze wall plates & dark wood trim, so I wanted the speaker connections to match. This setup looks great, and perfectly matches the design of the room. One of the posts was extremely loose in the plastic, and took some finagling to get tightened up properly, so I'm taking off a half star (rounding down) for that. Other than that, no complaints. The signal connection is perfect and they fit into the decora insert smoothly. I originally planned to use with these, but I didn't like how far they stuck out from the wall. That's just my subjective opinion, though, and the banana plugs fit into the posts nicely as well.

These are high quality posts! They snapped into my wallplate nice and snug and fit the opening perfectly. The connections are tight and feel solid, and the lugs are very well made. I highly recommend!

These keystones are incredibly frustrating to snap into a wall plate. I used a matching Legrand OnQ wall plate with these keystones. I’ve used hundreds of keystones of other brands with no issues, but these seem to have poor manufacturing tolerances and consistency.About a quarter of these keystones easily snapped into the wall plate. About half of them snapped into place after messing with it for about a minute. The last quarter of them took a ton of work to get them to snap into the wall plate without getting stuck. It took me 45 minutes to get 10 of these keystones snapped into an OnQ wall plate. I’ll buy a different brand next time.

This is a keystone insert that can fit into Powerbridge/decora plates as well as QonQ wall plates. I was disappointed that the rear only uses binding posts, not banana plugs. Since there is no picture of the back it is tough to see how the speaker wire will connect. Unfortunately it is attached via a set screw. If using thinner gauge wire (I used 16 Gauge) make sure you strip off a bit extra from the wire casing. This will allow you to fold the stripped speaker wire over on itself and then insert it into rear of the jack and tighten the set screw down securely. The front binding posts are marked with red and black and will take banana plugs as well as bare speaker wire. I highly recommend using banana plugs on the front.

A solid binding post. Nice wide set screw on the back side so it attaches to any kind of wire.
