Great product. The only feature I use is the offset feature so that I can mount the unit to a mono stick and measure heights. Works great outside in the bright sunlight, usually had to issues hitting at least 50' when in the sun. Indoors in the dark it definitely goes a lot farther. The only downside is that when you set the offset, it uses the offset even when measuring from other edges of the disto.

False advertisement or the seller doesn't know the difference. Ordered once before from this seller and received the correct "34" model, but this time i received the 850833 instead. This (850833) unit cannot be converted to measure to the 1/16 of an inch like the "33" unit and that is what I need it to do. Called Leica and they said this was a Japanese model and what I need is the US model. When you get your unit, take out the batteries and check the ART# to make sure you received what you ordered. This one is going back.

Bought for work, I use a different model daily and wanted to upgrade. Bought it specifically to use in conjunction with my iPad for a specific estimating program. I was happy to discover that the Leica app is much more useful when using this device.

I am an Adjuster and this app is either very non user friendly or you can't use the "smart measure" for more than one room. It would make sense to let folks like us "smart measure" multiple rooms then piece them together to floor plan an entire house.

Got the wrong style twice last 2 dights were 33 not 34. 34 measures to 1/4 in 33 gose to 1/32in. So I'll wait till my first stimulus comes after taxes come out and get the X4 instead.

J'ai acheté le Disto X3 dans l'espoir qu'il soit compatible avec Xactimate mobile et il ne l'ai malheureusement pas. J’ai dû retourner l'appareil et acheter le modèle D810 à la place. Malgré tout la nouvelle série X était tout simplement parfaite fidèle à la marque Leica.
