This highland cow pattern was good quality. The end result is very similar to the product image. I made a Santa hat to go with it so unfortunately that does not come with the pattern. The introductions were easy to understand and included useful photos. The price is good considering it comes with a full skein of Red Heart yarn, two small bundles of yarn for the horns and hooves, a 4.00 mm hook, safety eyes, and a needle. My only complaint would be that the needle provided is way too large to actually fit through the small tight stitches you get from the thin yarn and small crochet hook. Overall, I recommend this pattern to anyone who’s looking for a cute crochet highland cow pattern!

Great patterns, super cute. Does require basic crochet skills and pattern reading, begins with a basic chain stitch. I’ve made the two cows, going to make another, then try the afghan.

This is not a full kit. All I was sent is one color of yarn and a crochet hook with instruction book. I didnt get the needle, or the eyes, or the other color of yarn. Can't tell you about the pattern till I get the things that are missing.

Cow works up quickly, only slight time consuming part is adding all the hair!Be sure to do the tension swatch first to confirm you're using the right tension.
