These are one of those fishing items where I think, "why in the world didn't I use these years ago???" I just got used to and lived with multiple spinners of the same shape, size, colors having entangled hooks within my tackle box slots. Those days are now gone. Not being sure of what size(s) I needed, I decided to go with this selection because of the wide range of sizes and the reasonable price. These hook bonnets work as they should. They lock into place upon installation and are easy to remove using the small, circular tab. Just gently push with a finger and they pop right off. I used about 90 and only one wouldn't click into place on the treble. My collection is mostly spinners and spoons for salmon fishing. By far the most agreeable size for me was #4, which covered the bulk of my size 4 and 5 Vibrax spinners. The size #5 bonnets were great for larger 7/8 oz Pixee spoons, KO wobblers, and Daredevils. The size #3 worked on smaller spinners. I did not use a single #1 size.I like em!

There is nothing wrong with the product. I was looking for protection for treble fishing hooka for marine jigs.I I wrongly assumed the largest hook protector would fit my salas and tandy jigs. They don't. NOne are large enough. I would like to see a ruler next to the protectors fo size can be judged..

This had to be the most boring thing I’ve ever done when it comes to dealing with my fishing lures. But, that being said, they work and snapped on perfectly. I like how there’s a little clip on each one so you can easily remove them when needed without the fear of putting a hook in your finger. Will be buying more in the next few weeks.

Excellent product! Helped in the organization of many fishing lures to prevent entanglement and injury.

As a lure painter, treble hooks are a constant issue when assembling the end product. It only takes a few times of jabbing yourself and drawing blood to realize, there has to be a better way.Thankfully I found these wonderful little hook sheaths that solve all those problems. Besides having 5 different sizes to work with, the design shows that someone was actually thinking beyond just covering up the sharp points. There are drainage ports at the bottom of each hook bend, which allow any excess water to drip away, as well as a passage for airflow to expedite drying time.To top it off, there is a very satisfying “ click “ that you feel and hear, when the hook seats properly in the bottom of the “ treble scabbard “If you suffer from the dreaded “ Crankbait Quagmire “ when retrieving a lure from you tackle box, get these! They work!!!

The hook covers fit great and are significantly less bulky than others on the market, but be warned - the "300 pack" may not actually contain 300. I received only 280.

I’ve tried other hook covers and they didn’t work well. These are great. I kept getting my tip up hooks snagged on the sleds pull rope, ratchet straps, clothes, each other, etc. these snap right on and come off easily. I started putting them on my summer gear already. I’m going to order more in the main sizes I need but I’m glad I have this variety.

We are new to fishing and want to avoid catching hooks. Probably 20% of these has a little excess material that didn’t allow the hooks to lock in. We had to snip the extra plastic to remedy the flaws
