I was sitting around on a snowy day looking at the snow-covered sidewalks and thought I should order some baskets so I could take my hiking poles and use them for snowshoeing or walking on the sidewalks with the snow and ice - to get out and go for a hike vs. sitting inside. These are easy to install and remove on my LEKI Crosstrails. You expect since they are the same branded baskets, they should fit, but installation and removal were the biggest concerns. However, this is not an issue, and swapping them easy, and that is simple.

These fit on my Leki trekking poles and were great for our first few snowshoe outings. No problems- they worked fine. By the way, it takes a bit of effort to remove the small hiking baskets that were on the poles and to put these on. Just pull or push (hard!) as appropriate in combination with a screwing motion.

As all things LEKI the snowflake baskets work well, the materials used offer some flex that generic baskets don't have. Do these work any better than the generic version probably not but they do have a nice quality feel and look nice on my LEKI poles

I don't have much of a review as I've used the baskets once on new poles BUT it was 14" of snow and it worked out well. They screwed onto the ends easily and did not come off. I need more research to leave a proper review.

Dinged 2 stars because they cost more than they should.Very functional for transforming your Leki hiking sticks to winter poles. Have just used during hiking in the winter but they would be great for snowshoeing as well. Leki also makes a big basket for deep and light powder.
