This citrus juicer has a nice weight to it and is solidly built so that it doesn’t feel flimsy or about to break when given one more hard squeeze. The weight of the juicer helps with the performance and ease of use because the weight allows the device to do more work than the human using it. As in, you don’t need to be muscular to use this juicer. A whole lemon or lime that’s been cut in half can easily fit in the hopper. The reservoir under the straining basket is of a decent capacity and the pouring lip allows for efficient emptying. This device is designed to separate into three parts: handle/arm, strainer, and base. This separation allows for easy cleaning either by hand or in the dishwasher.

This is a very attractive product and works well. There is some flexing in the body of the squeezer when force is used to extract more juice. I am hoping that it will not become deformed enough that it does not work as well as when new.

This thing works and works very well with little effort. Wife always complained that she couldn't squeeze lemons easily and I broke a few of those regular ones. This one is very easy and satisfying with added bonus that you can pour as much juice as you want even if you squeezed too much out. She really loves this because you don't always need entire lemon in one mixture. I highly recommend this.

Worked like a dream (seriously!) until the female side of the hinge began to bend inward. You can see in the pictures that the female hinges have begun to bend to something less than the angle they were manufactured to be (compare the angle of the red lines to the angle of the hinges). This shifts the entire pressing half inward towards the cup. Now the bottom edge of the hingeâ€presser†scrapes against the plastic basket, (see yellow highlighted pic) and each time I use it, it gets tighter and tighter as the hinge bends further and further. Also, the two receiving slots on the female side of the hinge are distorting into a wider, more open shape, which fails to keep the male half of the hinge in the slots while pressing, and also looks awful.I’ve had it for about 3 years, and I’m gonna hit them up to see it they’ll warrantee it. It will very soon become unusable, due to the fit getting tighter and tighter.Honestly, I wish this hadn’t happened, because I would definitely be giving this thing 5 stars for juicing better than any other juicer I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot of them! They need to use harder metals that won’t bend and deform with use.

Well designed and heavy. It smashes lemons and limes perfectly.

NOTE: I am not a clumsy person who has trouble figuring out how to use gadgets. I am not a messy person who gets food all over the place when I am cooking (or juicing). I am not weaker than the average healthy adult. I say all of this so readers will know I am giving a fair, unbiased review.I often ready reviews and think to myself, "these complaints are on the user, not the product."For example, it's not the fault of the food processor manufacturer that the product is "impossible to clean". That is someone who used it, set it aside to get dry and crusty, and then wanted it to be as easy to clean as a smooth glass bowl. It is that easy to clean if you do it right away. So yeah, I don't blame a tool unless I have really tried to get good results using best practices. Now on to the review! This thing was awkward and painful to use, super messy, and wasted so much fruit!I actually decided to do a little test and used my potato ricer to squeeze some oranges side by side with this... they both sucked about the same, but the ricer was easier to squeeze and not nearly as messy. If you want to try using a ricer, the biggest difference is you need to have a bowl under the ricer to catch the juice. This device claims you don't need to do that but I found I still needed a catch bowl because the way this device is shaped, if your hands are not HUGE, it is hard to control, so there are occasional jerky slips that cause juice to splash all over.I do not recommend this or a ricer for citrus. Both of them work fine for berries, soft fruit like peaches, bananas, strawberries and watermelon, but you probably have a blender that would do that more efficiently. If not, you can get one for half the price of this thing.P.S. Photos are not needed, it looks just as it does in the display pics.

I can close Captains of Crush Gripper No. 1, I destroyed a similar cheaper version within weeks. This will take some time.

This is a very well built hand juicer. Sadly though, I find it does not extract juice very efficiently.
