Its very easy to hold, but I tried to zest lemons to make lemonchello. Either the type of lemons I used had an extremely hard peel or, as a senior citizen, I didn’t have the strength to get any zest. The zester does not have a sharp edge for zesting.

If you do meal kit boxes you end up zesting various things in just about every box. This is easily my favorite kitchen tool these days.

I have one from Pampered Chef that is much more ergonomic. The angle of the zester blades is not as easy to get the job done. It is very difficult to remove the lemon zest with this product.

I was making tacos, and grabbed the zester to zest limes, and was stunned to realize, it does nothing at all. There is no "blade" or sharpness to the edge. You can run the tool over the rind as much as you want, with pressure, and you will not even scar the skin of the fruit. What a disappointment. Possibly there is a step in the manufacturing process of sharpening the tool, that was skipped on ours. What a waste of money and what a frustration. I wound up using a peeler, then taking a sharp knife to the peelings, in order to get my zest. Not the same. I would give it no stars, or negative stars, if I could.
