I got this so I could have a neat installation of an outside security camera. I cut a hole in the back for the for the power supply line of the camera and another in the cover with 4 holes to mount the camera. I drilled a hole through the wall for the camera's power supply for the power supply line of the camera, mounted the box over the hole with the expanding wall anchors. I mounted the camera to the cover with small bolts that came with it and plugged the male end of the power cable into the female end snaked through the wall hole. I used silicone caulk between the camera and behind the box and the wall. The excess cable was coiled in the box. The cover fit fine over the coiled wires. The assembled box was very sturdy with the included cover screws. All in all a very easy, very neat, water tight installation.

Exactly what I needed... but had to cut some of the inside nubs to fit what I was building.The final result was pretty good.

I am delighted with this box, which was about $20 cheaper than other options. I mounted the box with a soft start inside, and while I couldn't use the pre-fabricated holes, I successfully secured the device. The box is excellent for providing added protection to my electrical equipment. Highly recommended for its affordability and reliability. Thanks!

Got this to make a button box for a racing simulator on my PC and it works great.Very solid and easy to paint; also when drilling it keep shavings to a minimum and does not smell foul like other plastic project boxes.the only downside is that the weathering strip once added severely reduce the available space for the lip on the top lid; so you need quite some force to keep the lid on the box and maintain the weatherproof capabilities of this box. Since I use it indoor, I didn't bother with the strip and used it without

I purchased to this to install an antenna on a RV roof that ensured a water proof pass through. In addition it provides future access to the antenna mounting, cables and pass through if needed.

Arrived quickly. Had a problem, one lid screw missing. Robin from Customer Service contacted us immediately and made everything right. Have the box all set up for an RV rooftop application. Completely satisfied. Outstanding Customer Service!UPDATE: We were asked to write an additional review, so here it is. We liked the box design. The four lid screws were outside of the interior area of the box, so now water infiltration is possible via the lid screws. Additionally the lid includes a mechanical waterbarrier and an o-ring gasket. We are confident that this box is weatherproof. The box plastic is very hard, but it is a bit brittle. We were able to drill four holes through the sides of the box with an ordinary hole saw without issues. We mounted a back plane inside the box using the molded in standoff screw holes. While carefully installing three screws into the standoffs, one standoff cracked. The only other problem we had was the box arrived with one of the four lid screws missing. We went to the local hardware store and purchased 4 new stainless steel screws. The screw that was missing had damaged threads in the insert. Fortunately the hard stainless steel machine screw was able to tap through the thread damage and now works fine. We have the box installed on the roof of our live in RV and it is working fine. We are completely satisfied with the box. As I mentioned in the first review, this company contacted us right away upon seeing our review that we had some problems. They have outstanding customer service that is unmatched by any recent experience we have had with any other company. We would definitely buy from this company again. Thank you LeMotech!

The walls of the box are thin, but it does its job. However, the main flaw with this box is that the screws are not stainless steel, and they rusted a lot. After a year of sun and rain, it has been impossible for me to reopen the box. I cannot unscrew the rusted screws. Also, the design of this box makes it ideal for water to accumulate inside the well of the screw.I would not buy it again.

I used this to make a switch centre for some low load circuits in the cabin of a cape boat. There is plenty of room inside the box for a fuse block and the wiring for the 6 switches I installed in the cover. I also drilled the sides and installed some cable glands and am happy to say the plastic did not crack of snap.It installs easily on a flat surface, and after almost 12 months of use, has not shown any signs of weathering or discoloration.
