I got this as a supplement to the common tool that is curved in shape and has 2 rods connecting the sides together as well as a set of rubber lens removal pads.When the tool style suits the lens design, such as inside of a TLR, nothing could beat this. One flat connecting rod is secure and rigid and allows for working deeper without obstruction, again such as the inside of a TLR. Finally, the no -curved shape gives me way more confidence that I'm not going to slip.It's possible that this could work as my only lens tool, but I'm happy to include it as one in my set of tools.
