They didn’t come put together. And no directions. I have no idea how to attach the string to the yo-yo.

More of a toy. Not full size. Had to put the string on each one manually. A great party favor for children. Not a serious item for a gift box of quality.

These Yoyos have four main things in their favor:1) They're labelled as beginner yoyos2) They're cheap3) Kids like the designs4) They're not badI bought these to give to kids as prizes and, for that, there's one big issue - the strings aren't connected on any of them! The string comes separately in a little bundle. Not a big deal when you have one yoyo, but with 50? Whew!These are probably the simplest responsive yoyos I've seen - there's a plastic bearing in the middle and the sides have bumps - if the string catches on the bumps, the yoyo comes back up. The problem is that it's really inconsistent. Sometimes I can make it sleep (around 30 seconds, which isn't bad!), get a couple of tricks in, and still have the yoyo return. Other times it returns immediately. Sometimes it won't return at all. A couple times the string popped off the bearing and got wrapped around the screw, so I had to take it apart to get it working again.At the price, I'd give it five stars if the strings had been installed. Since I'm going to be spending a chunk of my time doing it, my "cost" went up significantly. Four stars is the best I can do.

The kids love these! There are many different colors to choose from and it's hours of fun for the kids! My son loved having these as party favors for his birthday!

These are not magic or sleeping yoyos, they are quite basic. However, they are bouncy, very responsive and made out of thick premium materials. As others mentioned, the strings do not come attached. I bought these as gifts for my fourth grade students and they love them.
