Got the Lerine 24 Pack Reusable Sandwich Bags Dishwasher Microwave Safe so we don't have to keep using disposable plastic bags. These bags are also made of plastic, but they are a thicker material so they can be washed and reused. Other than the blue band across the top, they do remind me of just thicker zip bags. If you wash them in the dishwasher, you cannot use the heating element. Overall, these bags are good for a few reuses, but I don't know the durability of them after repeated washing. As of now, they work fine.

This pack of fifteen reusable freezer bags came flat in the shipping envelope, sealed in a zipper locked bag. In pulling out the bags, they are made of food-grade plastic and feel thick between my fingers.There is a double seal that locks the bag up good and tight. I’ve put chicken and beef into these bags and placed them in the freezer. Two weeks later, I pulled them out and found the food frozen without any problems or freezer burn. There were no leaks as well.The product description states that these are BPA free, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe. I haven’t tested either of those claims, as I’ve been handwashing them after using them and haven’t encountered any problems.You can also use them for holding snacks or other such foods on the go, like you would use a regular, disposable plastic bag.The main reason I ordered these was that I was tired of buying freezer bags that get used once or twice and then get thrown out. With these, they are reusable and easy to clean. Eventually, using these will save me some money over time.Compare these to name brand zipper lock bags and it costs me $3.49 for a pack of fifteen zipper locked bags. While these are $14.99 for a fifteen-pack, I’ll be able to reuse them over and over again, so eventually, they will pay for themselves and then some.They are also eco-friendly, as there will now be less plastic in the environment now that I’m using these bags.Overall, I found these bags to be durable with a strong leak-proof seal that doesn’t leak, works well and will save me money.

We’ve been trying to reduce household waste, so I was excited to give these reusable freezer bags a try. My first impression is that they are great! These bags are large, gallon-sized, and have a zip-lock style that feels thicker and more durable than many heavy-duty storage bags I’ve used. I also appreciate that they are made from food-grade PE material, ensuring they are PVC, BPA, Chloride, and Lead free.The bags seem to be of good quality, with smooth zippers that seal tightly. I like that they are dishwasher safe (as long as you turn off the heat function), but waiting for them to dry after washing was time consuming and I wound up having to towel dry the insides. I’ll likely look into making or buying some type of a drying rack designed for this purpose.Another big plus is that they’re freezer safe and can even be used in the microwave (as long as steam can escape) although I've yet to try this. So far, I’ve used several for freezing meat and storing sliced vegetables in the fridge. After 2 days I haven’t noticed any freezer burn or leaks, though I don't want to say for sure until its been at least a week for the ones in the freezer. I also haven’t tested them with liquids yet.They are a great size for all kinds of uses, from food storage to organizing non-food items. My only concern is how long they’ll last, but they seem promising so far. I’m really pleased with this product and excited to see how they hold up over time!

We use these bags to pack snacks for the kids. My kids love dried fruit and this size bag works great. It doesn't take up a lot of room in their backpack and it keeps the snacks fresh. I even have one kid that thinks raw carrots are a yummy snack if they come from one of these bags.The bags open and close easily. The biggest downfall is trying to get the kids to remember to bring the empty bag back home.

First off, these reusable plastic freezer bags are not that much thicker than your standard disposable freezer bags. I was surprised how similar they were to a disposable bag and expected the to be real thick like some other reusable bags that I have seen. They seal nice and tight and have a double seal. They are rated for temperatures up to 120 degrees C/250 degrees F. Most dishwashers don't reach temperatures beyond 180 degrees F. However the instructions that come with the bags recommend skipping the heated dry cycle if you choose to clean them in the dishwasher (which I do). I hang these over the top dishwasher rack tines that hold cups. The company will send you a free drying rack if you upload pics of you using the bags to their website, or at a heavily discounted rate if you don't want to do that. The instructions come in the package of bags.

If planning to reuse these bags, I find that anything oily or fatty should be avoided. For me it becomes too much effort to clean greasy residues. The bags are too lightweight for a dishwasher, and the corners of the bags are hard to access when hand washing. Storing dry or water-based items can realistically make these bags reusable.
