It took about 30 minutes to assemble but it was worth the time! I am enjoying my new filing cabinet!

Once you are done, it’s a good, solid and functional file cabinet. That said, assembly is a bit of a project (pain). You should plan on at least an hour sprinkled with minor but surmountable frustrations. We bought two and the second assembly was less of a challenge. Still , know what you are getting into before your purchase.

A Great deal but read the directions carefully and thoroughly. Like others have mentioned. If you assemble the drawers incorrectly they drawers will fail to lock and you will not be able to disassemble them too fix it.A bit of a pain to assemble but well worth the savings you get by doing so. That said, if I were to buy another, I would probable buy the preassembled one :-) !

The screw holes don't line up and several of the screws striped . Not easy in assemble and not worth the time & money.

The size is perfect for my apartment. holds my printer great. Fits my files. Love the look, ease of moving with the rollers. However, the assembling was a NIGHTMARE!! What should have taken an hour tops, took nearly three, because the instructions got more vague as the process got more involved and the corresponding pictures were not helpful. At. All. The biggest problem were the screw holes. They were way to small and the included tools were useless. I had to "Pre-screw" each hole with MY tools too make the holes big enough for the screws to go through. Add to that, the drawers were imstalled, they wouldn't close all the way making me think the overall unit was mis-sized. Turns out the lock was engaged. No note to insure the lock was unclocked before installing the drawers. Too much effort, drama for the price. should be pre assembled or at minimum, partially done

Great product. Packing was the best I have seen. Even included metal corner protectors and 1/2†honeycomb pads all around. Product arrived in prefect condition. Included full locking feature and two folding keys (cool key designs.) Assembly consisted of attaching the four casters along with a roller for the bottom file folder drawer. Very easy to assemble; took about 15 minutes. Top notch drawer glides - full extension ball bearing type.

Easy to assemble and excellent combo drawer and file division for small amount of paper and files.
