I love these glasses. I wear these for work as I need to wear Z87 rated lenses. I have the same Switchback glasses in shadow gray lenses and actually like them better for the constant sunlight we have here…no trees or shadows. I live and work in Nevada. But I do love these bronze mirror pair too but when I slip them on I do feel my eyes need a second to adjust to the brownish-orangish tint the lenses provide. I also wear a 7-7/8 fitted hat and these fit great! It’s very hard to find glasses that fit my melon and these do the trick

Very high quality sunglasses with great polarization. The frames feel very solid, yet are still not heavy. The best part of the glasses are the solid hinges which lock in both the open and closed position.

*** Update: Unfortunately, after about a month of light use, the paint/coating on the front of the frame has started to peal in one place. I have cleaned these glasses exactly as recommended, have kept them in their fiber cloth bag and case, and have not dropped them or laid them on the frame, so there is no reason for this pealing to have occurred. Because of this, I must lower my rating to four stars. I added a picture of the pealing. ***The sunglasses arrived in a nice box which contained a foam padded carrying case for the glasses. The carrying case has a foam insert that is form-fitted around the glasses. This case will do a great job of protecting the glasses from any damage that could occur from typical use, including an accidental drop of the case. The glasses also come with a microfabric bag which protects the glasses even more. Tucked away in a pouch of the case, is a microfiber cleaning cloth.The sunglasses have a nice appearance and the quality of the frame is good. The temples snap into place when opened, which is a nice feature. These glasses are a perfect fit for me. Since different Leupold models can come in different sizes, you will want to make sure that you order the model that will fit you best.The glasses come with a no-slip rubber bridge pad that I found to be quite comfortable, and it did a great job of keeping the sunglasses in place throughout the day.Using household water, I tested the water shedding capabilities. The glasses shed water well, with no water rings evident after the sunglasses dried out.The lenses are very clear and were free of any smudges or defects. When viewing through the glasses, there is no distortion. With the bronze tint there was, as expected, an overall yellowish tint. There was only a slight intrusion of light that came in from the outside bottom edges of the glasses; otherwise, the glasses did a good job of keeping out the light. There was a decent reduction in glare when I wore them on a mostly sunny day, and they improved the view when worn on an overcast day and at dusk.These sunglasses are well-suited for any outdoor use and not just for shooting sports. They are quality, comfortable sunglasses.
