I purchased glow sticks like this over 15 years ago and have been looking for them ever since. The ones I have purchased were either too small, too thin, already cracked on arrival, not bright, etc. These are exactly what I was looking for! They are big as in long but also thick! They glow bright the entire night! The kids love them. We use them all the time just because they’re fun, but we especially use them at night outside. We used them on 4th of July and will definitely be using them on Halloween. The kids love to carry them around and wave them in the air and I love that it makes them SO much more visible to cars and for me to find them if they get a little to far away.

These photos were taken with normal exposure in my bedroom with zero light.They kept their bright glow for about 6-8 hours and had a dim glow 36 hours later (visible but didn’t put off substantial light)Highly suggest, you will not be disappointed

I bought these for a camping trip to the beach for niece. They shone bright in the darkness, though the light faded out really fast. Like really fast. But since they were for a 7 year old with a typical 7 year old’d attention span, it worked for us. She loved running around the beach with her “light sabers” and that’s exactly what I was hoping for. She was happy, so I was happy

They are OK. No brighter than the 6 inch ones. OK to mark a location in the dark but put out very little useable light
