This was installed on a Toyota tundra and was an original Toyota part costing less then from the dealership

Wellllll, the item I received was not actually IN a factory Toyota package, as shown, but, instead, I received a package with a tiny, little picture of the Toyota factory packaging so it is hard to know whether this is a real Toyota part or not. Nevertheless, this part appeared to be made of good materials with good pliability. It fit perfectly into the valve cover and, likewise, the PCV fit perfectly into the grommet with no apparent leaks.I would recommend this part as a viable OEM replacement. This was for my 1995 Toyota Tacoma.

perfect fit and replacement for the factory original part. worked fine on my 1999 Lexus LX470 and would have also worked fine for my 2001 Landcruiser. Same engines.

nothing else to say. i do hope this holds up better than the aftermarket whathaveyou from oreilys help section, that one was hard and brittle within a couple yearsi wiped this down with space juice to hopefully keep it supple longer and perhaps this will ensure slightly less oil is leaking out from all over this engine with over 300,000 miles on it

I was kind of surprised that even though the item description uses the term "genuine", it did not come in Toyota packaging. Comparison with the item it was to replace, it had the same "INDAK" labeling. However, auto parts inventories are rampant with counterfeit parts. Bottom line, it can't be any worse than the factory installed part.Removal of the old part was easy with an X-Acto blade; cutting axialy through the center hole and collapsing it so it passes through its mounting hole. This prevents broken pieces from falling into the cover which it is mounted.
