I had a whole house water softener, water conditioner & filter installed so there was no longer a need to have a water filter on my LG refrigerator. This works great ... no leaks.

My serial number is on the list and Lg even says this will replace filter LT1000P. It will not. Totally different designed inlet. I was told to get this after we had an RO system installed. After searching and finding nothing, I read on Reddit that you can just remove the filter and it will by-pass itself. Sure enough, i removed the filter and it dispenses water with no leakage.

Works great I pay to have my water filtered in my home and the company told me there wasn’t a need for a filter. Bought this and it works perfectly, no longer need to buy 40 dollar filters every few months.

Ordered this product for our LG refrigerator to bypass the filter since we use RO water. Did not fit our refrigerator. Be sure to check that it will fit your refrigerator model before ordering.
