I felt like twenty dollars was a tad steep for a screw and then found out the washing machine part came with one already. Amazon should probably not suggest this as an “add-on†to the other part since it is unnecessary. It WAS easy enough to return to my local Kohl’s store though. Kohl’s even gave me a $5 gift card for my trouble.

I have a ~5 year old LG washer and the agitator plate would come off in the middle of cycles. I looked online for a fix and some people would replace the entire plate if the part connecting it to the washer got worn down, but that looked fine to me. I replaced the screw for $8 and it fixed the problem (old vs. new in photo). Couldn't be happier!
