I am known as the plant killer in the family. I either under water or over water until I finally have the plants to my mom to bring back to life.After getting two plants from a funeral. I did not want them to die, so I bought these amazing and pretty watering globes. The plants are still alive and growing!Even if you have a green thumb I suggest you buy them to make it easier on you.

Easy to use. Looks pretty! And helpful! I have some hanging plants and this is a life saver.Would recommend!

Really pretty, sturdy, large enough to help watering on really hot days.Cons - not easy to fill and gets clogged with dirt. Says to cover opening with fabric. Which seems unwieldy. Not to mention then you have fabric sticking out of plants.

One of the globes just inexplicably shattered. I left home one morning and came back to find shards all over my planter. There was no indication of external disturbance--the stem was in the soil, and it's like it just exploded.The other globes have done fine in the last 8 months that I've ha the product, but they're not very reliable at dispensing water; perhaps the stems are too narrow and get clogged up with soil? The light blue one hasn't been refilled in 4-5 months and still has (now gross) water in it.I guess they're nice, but I wouldn't rely on them if I need to leave on a trip and want to make sure my plants get the water they need.

Arrived well-packaged with no damage. Pretty without being obtrusive. About the size of a round doorknob. Holds my plants over for two weeks, rather than me having to water every week. Good value for cost.

Not only is these convenient for self watering, but it also helps me know how much the soil of my plants are absorbing water and at what rate. It helps me indicate whether or not the soil needs to be changed according to how much water it has absorbed (of course depending on the plant). I truly love this for my snake plant since it is a plant that should be watered not as frequently, but for my other plants that do like to drink a lot of water it helps me determine whether the soil is absorbing the water or not. I will say it is a bit difficult to refill since the hole is tiny, but I have no complaints about these watering bulbs. They also are very durable!
