This kit is well packed, includes reasonable quality tools, and decent printed instructions with pictures. Screen fits and opens/closes as new and the lid sensor worked out of the box with no adjustment. New screen is bright and clear with no noticeable dead pixels. There may be a slight color shift (less green, brighter blue/red) but this could easily be screen to screen differences and is easily calibrated away. Only thing missing from the kit is the T1 driver needed to remove the lid sensor bracket (1 screw). However, driver kits are available on Amazon for less than $10 (even with overnight delivery). Manufacturers take note - right to repair also means minimizing the number of special tools required to service your product.Some tips:Put down a large towel on the work surface to protect your laptop/screen and help contain any screws that might get dropped and bounce off the work surface (the tools are magnetized). It will help to have 2 containers to contain screws and parts to separate between cable brackets and hinge parts. Keep the speakers away from the screws as they will attract them! Pay attention to the disassembly of the ribbon cable attachment bracket so it is clear on how to re-assemble it. The bracket is clever in that when you get everything lined up the black plastic piece will snap into place and the screw holes will align perfectly. The ribbon cables on the new screen will not have the creases in the right places so you will have to make those manually using the old screen as a guide. First cable disconnected is the battery and that should be the last cable to re-connect just prior to testing. With this kit and some patience your laptop screen should be fixed!

This was a nice replacement for my daughters MacBook. The Apple Store wanted $800 to do it and a new machine starts at $1000. This was an affordable way to get more life out of her beloved Mac! Looks great easy to do and very happy!

I was sent a screen initially and the display was very glitchy. I contacted the company and they immediately sent me a replacement with no questions asked. The screen was flawless this time. It works great and the instructions to replace the screen was quite easy.

In the marketing info, this seller claims the display uses the original camera. That is not the case, the camera quality is horrible and unfortunately unprofessional, meaning I can no longer comfortably use the built in webcam. It is dishonest to mislead buyers saying it is original.Other than that, the screen is fine.

10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I AM BY NO MEANS A TECH PERSON BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE VERY CLEAR TO FOLLOW AND JUST LIKE THAT MY MACBOOK IS BACK IN ACTION! I DID RUN INTO A SNAG BUT I WAS ABLE TO REACH OUT TO THE SELLER AND GET SOME ASSISTANCE AND IT WAS USER ERROR LOL! IF YOUR LOOKING TO REPAIR YOUR OWN DEVICES THIS WOULD BE THE WAY TO GO! the screen is great. the instructions are great at telling you how to install. i wish there was either a link to a video in the instructions though or further instructions telling you how to put it back together.also the suction cup was missing from my kit so had to use duct tape and my tools were loose in the package rattling around.but.... the screen was great and it worked well. its quite a tricky but easy fix.just take your time!! and use a bright light.

Got it in 3 days. The package was very well packed and come with everything you need as the ad. said.I used youtube (uber Geeks) video as installation guide, works great and easy, The paper guide comes with is not so good. The monitor is good but not the camera. The color is a bit off but if you are not use it for photo/picture editing you are fine. Apple ask $500 over + tax. I paid a bit less $200 with tax.

The screen arrived well packaged with all the tools needed to install it. The instructions were easy to follow (along with the ifixit video). It is a fairly straightforward repair which can be completed within an hour or two.

Really impressed with this replacement screen and surprisingly easy to fit. The included tools were perfect for the job and it took me less than 40mins to complete the repair. Super impressed with the quality of the display. Can’t recommend highly enough. Great product!
