I got this because my nephew is able to solve the Rubiks cube in less than three minutes so I got this to stump him and since I’ve got it it stumped me you know what he did it under five minutes seen it for the first time frustrating but well-made, and if you really must cheat you can pull the thing apart and put it back together. Technically I solved it. I was just thinking outside the pyramid I recommended for anybody that has a Rubiks cube and then some.

This is a pyraminx that's designed for looks, not really performance. It's actually a Shengshou and their puzzles are usually at least decent. This one is not. Within a few seconds of just simple turns, the pyraminx just ... stopped turning in one direction. Completely locked up. I've owned probably 25 different pyraminxes over the years and have never run into that before. I get that you probably aren't going to compete with it but the puzzle should at least be functional and mine was not. Avoid.

It’s quite unique. After doing a few quick solves, the only problem I could find with it is that it is a bit loose. A few quick adjustments made it a perfectly good pyraminx. I’m glad to add this to my collection. It’s a good price for a decent quality puzzle.

I got this because when I ordered it, the description said it was the magnetic version. There is nothing about this puzzle that is magnetic. It is 100% plastic and it does not come apart. No magnets will stick to any part of this, or vice versa. It's a pyramid-shaped Rubix cube like puzzle. This is not at all what I thought it was, and they lose a star for lying about being magnetic.

Looking for a magnetic pyraminx to learn on?I’ve been using this LiangCuber Metallic Mirror Reflective Pyramid Speed Cube/Pyraminx to learn how to solve pyramid puzzles. The three layers turn very smoothly and the embedded magnets work like a charm. I can flick the sides and they snap into position well. The shiny metallic color is loved by everyone in the family. There’s always someone around to spin the layers and mix up the pyramid. I haven’t tried the standard edition, but the magnetic version is worth the tiny extra expense.RecommendedPros: - Magnets allow the different layers to snap into place when turning quickly. - Shiny: The shiny colors are just fun and great looking - Learning: I’ve been having fun learning how to do Pyraminx type puzzles.Cons: - Nothing

When I took this LiangCuber Metallic Mirror Reflective Pyramid Speed Cube out of the box, I kept turning sides I didn't mean to as the pyramid was very loose. I found popping the corners off and tightening the screws to be necessary to make it tight enough. I do worry that the corner pieces may pop off on their own given how easy they were to remove to tighten the pyramid up. I'm not really sure what the tiny magnets are for though maybe they make it a tiny bit easier to line things up, but they're so weak I'm not sure they really help all that much. I still give it four stars because it is what it says it is, and it does what it says it does, though it may require some adjustment to get it to do what it says it does the way you think it should.

I actually solved it by myself with no instructions! It’s magnetic so it clicks into place when you’re spinning the parts quickly! The metallic finish makes it even more satisfying! My family has been entertained by this!
