Despite a reviewer's comment that the handle wringer works well, mine did not. Sometimes the handle mechanism ejected the mop head instead of wringing or failed to operate at all. Perhaps the mop I received was a one-of defective item. I threw my out and will go back on Amazon to purchase a more "primative" and dependable model.

The mop is less wet than a regular mop so it doesn’t soak the wood. I’d like it to have been a little wider to cover more area

I've never used a sponge mop before. I've never had a real wood floor before. This mop, no matter the type of hard floor you have, is awesome. I especially feel good about using it on our wood floor as I know it's not going to leave a lot of water behind. It's perfect for cleaning up messes and for general cleaning. May be expensive, but so worth it for a mop! It's super easy to squeeze out, too, unlike previous string mops I've had.

I’m so disappointed in this mop. I bought one for my daughter and one for myself. I used mine twice and the third time the sponge literally fell apart. She had the same issue. I was counting on it because I have mostly hardwood floors but it left a lot of water on the floors, and then fell apart!

I really love this mop. I grew up with my mom having a sponge mop so that's what I wanted, I was worried about the reviews but going months without a mop was taking its toll and I took the chance. It works great, I find it easy to pull the lever and have had no problems. I will update if it brakes or anything. I use it on my tile floors

The mop was a huge disappointment...the head would not stay on and was very difficult to wring out...left too much water on hardwood wood floor yet it was supposed to be designed for hardwood floors.. I contacted the seller and they immediately gave me a choice of replacement or refund...I chose refund...which was done immediately.

You can't apply much pressure as the sponge compresses so much that the plastic tubs against the floor. The handle is shorter to talk people may find it uncomfortable to use.
