I have done a LOT of mopping in my life. I ran an Adult Family Home for 10+ years, and bred dogs for a longer period. I mostly used a string mop to clean up messes, but switched to a sponge mop 4 years ago. The Gator is the best of the 4 or 5 different sponge mops I have tried. That means the sponge does not separate from it's backing, and the squeezing action works efficiently. Every 2 years the handle rusts through, and breaks off at the base. I can't think of any other faults. The mop has a brush, for scrubbing off stubborn messes, but if it interferes with cleaning near walls, it can be removed.

This is the second time I ordered a pack of 6 Big Gator Mop Refills and only received 1. As you can see from the label on the packaging, it states “Pack of 6.†Back it goes, again!

I like the product and bought in volume because when using them with bleach they do not last long. Since 2020 I hope their working on a upgrade

Good quality, easy to use, BUT... the bottom layer of the sponge falls apart after very few uses.
