I bought this for my daughter as she decided to pick it up again in high school. She beat her cheaper one a bit and decided I would give this a try. It actually has really pleasant sound and is pretty nice to play. This is coming from a semi professional player. I did use my own mouthpiece with it and haven’t tried the one that comes with it.

I ordered this clarinet and received in good order but it was missing the mouthpiece. I returned and ordered another and received with no mouthpiece AGAIN!!

I ordered this clarinet and received it, but it was missing the mouthpiece. I returned it and ordered another one and received it without a mouthpiece AGAIN! I ended up buying the mouthpiece separately because my daughter needed it that week to start her classes.

If you’re looking for a good quality instrument, I recommend buying the libretto clarinet. They provide all the essential you will need to start your journey learning and playing the clarinet. It has a very nice sound and the keys are smooth to the touch for easy playing. This clarinet is pretty darn close to a professional clarinet.

This is my first clarinet, and as somebody who is just getting familiar with the right way to use this, it’s actually been pretty easy (no learning curve) as I haven’t had any issues with the material quality and sound.Prior to your first use, I highly recommend checking to make sure that all of the pads are secure, and ideally have an airtight seal. I think the reeds are more than adequate, but if you’re already familiar with a different manufacturer, that you are comfortable with, I would say, just to get those right off the bat. They do feel a little stiff to me, but again this is my first clarinet, I am just comparing it to other instrument reeds.I love that it comes with the carry bag, and there is even adequate storage for sheet music, etc. I highly recommend disassembling it and storing when not in use. Just be mindful when you are putting it together, not to force the pieces as you don’t want to endure any unnecessary damages.I wouldn’t say that it is a replacement for a professional clarinet by any means, but for a student in a band, I think this is a fantastic option.
