Perfect additions to my setup, my old tap got damaged and I got these as a replacement. Everything worked as it should. The only issue I had was that I tightened the tap to the canister too tight and had to loosen it a 1/4 turn to get refrigerant flowing. So over all very easy to use and would recommend

Had a hard time finding any taps that would connect to both my bottle and the gauge-set to do my AC work. Local car parts stores came up short, selling products that would only connect to my bottle. This kit is great for both self sealing bottles and non self sealing ones, with just a slight addition in price to a single useless item that can be purchased from a local parts store. I am all for supporting local when you can, or when they allow you to do so by providing you with the right useful product for your needs.

When they came I was impressed on the build quality. Come with a brass thread adapter which fits both valves. One valve punctures the refrigerant refill cans and the other would be used on the resealable type cans. When I purchased some r134a refrigerant, I did not realize the cans were the resealable type and was extremely happy that I got these valves.My first time using them was on a 2003 toyota rav4. The car is now blowing cold air again. I only used one 12 oz can. Will have to evacuate, vacuume test the system then insert the proper amount. 510 grams in this case.

This gets you ready for the new self sealing cans and also replaced stripped attachment for old style R134 cans as well. You don't need a leak on a can you can't remove.

Got these to replace the Wallyworld special that I have been using for some time. These are built well, but after a first and then second attempt at getting one that works, I gave up. Neither the original or replacement puncture taps would actually puncture a can of R134 no matter how hard they were screwed down. I have not used the blunt/self-sealing can tap yet, so cannot comment on those.

Bought this to fit the 16oz cans from my supplier only to find out it's a reverse thread from the cans I have . All the other cans i looked at had the same thread on the end of the tap . Asked to return as it was not what i needed and would prob6nevef get used only to find i am to pay return shipping not impressed .prime amazon member and i still have to pay a shipping return .last I buy from this supplier .
