LifeGrip General Anti-Slip Tapes are made of PET material as base film. PET has the following beneficial features compared with PVC:
Recyclable
PET is more environmentally safe than PVC as it is easily recyclable and less harmful to the environment.

PET has higher tensile strength and is more durable than PVC, making it a better choice for anti-slip tape that needs to withstand heavy foot traffic and harsh environments.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTION: (Quick and Easy)
1. CLEAN THE SURFACE
Clean surface with wet cloth thoroughly. Allow the surface to dry completely. Ensure the surface is completely free from dust and grease.
2. MEASURE AND CUT*
Cut the tape to the desired length and round the corners with scissors.(To ensure the anti slip tape has the best bonding to the surface, do not apply the anti-slip tape cross the gaps between tiles.)
* Pre-cut anti-slip treads can skip this step.
3. PEEL AND STICK
Lay the anti-slip strip to the desire location. Lift one end of the strip and peel back the first 2 inches of the backing. Press the tape down as you go. Continue until you have applied the entire strip to the surface. (For stairs, position the tape 1/2 inch from the edge of the stair.)
4. PRESS FIRMLY
Roll over the tape with the application roller. Begin in the center of the strip and roll to one end, then return to the center and roll to the other end.

We have a lovely Tyvek deck and stairs. The only down side is when the deck is wet from rain or frost/ice board's are slippery. As we are both in our late 70’s mitigating falling is wise. These Anit-Slip Treds were easy to apply, adhere well and prevent accidental foot slipping in inclement weather.

I have these at the threshold-entrance to my garage. That first step can be slippery when wet and after another slip and fall I decided to try these out. They do exactly as I hoped. They give me the traction where I needed and they glow as an added bonus. At night you can easily see the small step down and the sun “charges†the glow when the door is open. I scrubbed the floor with soap and water and let dry for a few hours before putting them down. They have not moved at all and have been installed about 3 weeks now. This is a high traffic area for us and they have held up great so far. I purchased 2 sets.

These strips were easy to install but seems I should have bought longer strips, had to use two per step. So far they have held well and really help in these dark winter days.

Put these behind where I park the SUV in the garage. My garage floor is pretty smooth, so when the SUV drags in water, it is slippery. I need to access the back quite often. These really reduce the slip hazard.

We purchased these so that our dock steps were more noticeable. These stick on strips are great! They glow in the dark, and they are visible in the daytime as well. They have been in place for about 6 weeks so far through rain, wind, and extreme heat, and they still look great!

Worked great until it rained. Then the adhesive failed and they started slipping around. I had cleaned the wood and let it dry thoroughly before installing. I am planning on nailing them down to keep them in place.

I use them for my dog's steps and ramps. They are senor dogs and they have to go out in the night and this helps them see better. Yes I have a porch light for them, but this is where they're looking to step with bad eyesight. They also have bad hips, so they have a firm grip when their legs are weak. Very easy to apply and have stayed in place in some nasty weather so far.
